The closure incorporates a miniature pressurized gizmo chamber, which holds the "FRESH" active ingredient and protects it from UV light and oxygen exposure, bacteria, and increases contents longevity.
A concentrate of active ingredient from runny liquids to syrup like, including colors, flavors, minerals, herbs or concentrates, is released when the closure is twisted.
The Gizmo Closure can be applied to many containers, shaped containers, and sizes in plastic or glass, and is suitable for still or carbonated base liquids.

Gizmo said the pack could be used in a wide range of industries, including the beverage, DIY, food and healthcare sectors.
Bernard Frutin MBE, the inventor and founder of Gizmo Packaging, established the company, which is based in Renfrew, Scotland, in 2001.
Gizmo said it was in talks with a multinational interested in using the closure in the global beverage market.
RPC, the rigid plastic packaging group, is the preferred supplier of the Gizmo.
RPC Bramlage-Wiko will manufacture the closure on behalf of Gizmo and injection molding of the plastic components will initially be undertaken at its plant in Lohne, Germany.
The chamber provides full product integrity under sterile conditions. When opened, the optional and fully customizable pressure level in the chamber, drives a jet of active liquid or syrup ingredient into the still or carbonated base liquid.
By adding flavors, vitamins, minerals, herbs, medicines, essences, colors, concentrates or other active and non-active ingredients to a variety of base liquids, Gizmo produces fresh and innovative ready-to-drink or use liquid products in plastic or glass bottles.
